IntroductionSUSTAIN is a model of human category learning which was developed by Brad Love and implemented by Todd Gureckis. The purpose of this site is to distribute and provide documentation forthe SUSTAIN code. It is our hope that by providing this information freely on the web we can help other researchers and modelers gain insight into the operation of SUSTAIN and assist them in creating simulations using SUSTAIN. On this site we cover how to install and use SUSTAIN. In addition to instructions and example code there is a complete index of the source code available online so you can look up a function and find which file it is located in and how to use it. |
Download SUSTAINTo begin using SUSTAIN you must first download the package from the Lovelab server at the Univ. of Texas. The most recent version of SUSTAIN will always be available at http://love.psy.utexas.edu/sustain/Download the tarball of the SUSTAIN package into your home directory.
